    • 2000 – Graduated from Takasaki High School, Gunma Prefecture
    • 2004 – Bachelor of Science from the Department of Applied Physics and Physico-Informatics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University 
    • 2006 – Master of Science from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University
    • 2006 – Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
    At METI, Mr. Kunimine was primarily responsible for energy policy and derivative regulations, including legislation for electricity derivatives, etc. During secondment to the Cabinet Office, he was engaged in economic trend analysis and the drafting of the Annual Report on the Japanese Economy and Public Finance.
    • 2012 Passed the Preliminary Bar Examination
    • 2013 Passed the National Bar Examination
    • 2014 Resigned from METI
    • 2015 Registered as an attorney after completing legal training
    • 2016 Joined Morrison & Foerster LLP/Ito & Mitomi, where he was engaged in general corporate practice, M&A, real estate transactions, data privacy compliance, litigation, etc.
    • 2017 Founded Kunimine Law Office (Member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association)
